UNIBEN Academic Calendar For 2018/2019 Session

University of Benin (UNIBEN) proposed Academic Calendar for 2018/2019 session has been published. The Calendar shows a break down of academic activities for the 2018/2019 academic session. According to the Calendar, students are expected back to campus on February 17th, 2019. See full details below;

• 17/02/2019 – New students come into residence for 2018/2019 Academic Session
• 24/02/2019 – Old students come into residence for 2018/2019 Academic Session
• 25/02/2019 – Lectures begin for 1st Semester of 2018/2019 Academic Session
• 04/03/2019 – 08/03/2019 – Senate meet to consider sessional results for higher levels for 2017/2018 Academic Session
• 11/03/2019 – 15/03/2019 – Business Committee meets to consider results for lower levels for 2017/7018 Academic Session
• 17/05/2019 – First semester lectures and (12 weeks)
• 20/05/2019 – 24/05/2019 – Revision (one week)
• 27/05/2019 – Examinations begins in Faculties of Education and Pharmacy.
• 31/05/2019 – CED Examinations
• 03/06/2019 – 14/06/2019 – Other Faculties Examinations (two weeks)
• 17/06/2019 – 21/06/2019 – General Studies Examinations
• 22/06/2019 – Students go down for first semester break
• 06/07/2019 – Students come into residence for second semester
• 08/07/2019 – Lectures begin for second semester
• 27/09/2019 – Second semester lectures ends
• 30/09/2019 – 04/10/2019 – Revision (one week)
• 07/10/2019 – Examination begins in Faculties of Education and Pharmacy
• 11/10/7019 – CED Examinations
• 14/10/2019 – 25/10/2019 – Other Faculties Examinations (two weeks)
