OOU has announced the resumption of academic activities as approved by the Senate following the suspension of the strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). The management of the university at its meeting held on February 8th, 2019 decided as follows:
Students are to resume on Monday, 11th February, 2019 for the continuation of lectures.
Students are also given additional ONE week, beginning from Monday, 11th February, 2019 to pay school fees and complete their course registration.
A meeting of the University Senate will hold on Tuesday, 12th February, 2019 to consider and approve, the revised Academic Calendar for the rest of the 2018/2019 academic session.
Students and the General Public are advised to please note the decisions of the University Management above and ensure strict compliance.
